This webinar was the last of six sessions of the 2024 Justice Coalition of Religious (JCoR) Lab on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which was conducted on the margins of the 2024 UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF). The Lab showcases Catholic Religious Sisters, Brothers, priests, and their partners’ perspectives on progress and good practices towards sustainable development in their respective countries.
In this presentation, José Bayardo Chata, Maryknoll mission partner at Derechos Humanos y Medio Ambiente (DHUMA) in Puno, Peru, tells of the progress that is needed to meet the first goal of the SDG's--the eradication of poverty, in all its forms, everywhere.
This session was held on 29 July 2024.
