The Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns has signed on to joint letters and reports for the Biden administration transition team. These documents express policy visions and priorities to help guide the Administration in taking action on issues of environmental justice, war and peace, immigration, etc.

The Interfaith Immigration Coalition Transition Report: The Interfaith Immigration Coalition, a network of which MOGC is a member, released the following report outlining policy recommendations for the Biden administraiton.
Root Causes Framework: Immigrant services and advocacy organizations joined together to publish a document on the root causes of the migration crisis from Central America for the Biden administration.
Iran Faith Letter: Leaders of faith-based organizations in Washington, DC, sent the following letter to President-elect Biden and Members of Congress urging for renewed efforts of diplomacy with Iran given escalating tensions.
Israel/Palestine Letter: A coalition of faith-based organizations issued a letter outlining recommended next steps for policy on Israel/Palestine.
Letter on Office of Religion and Global Affairs: A coalition of faith-based organizations and religious institutions sent a letter urging the Biden administration to revitalize the Office of Religion and Global Affairs, created during the Obama administration.
Climate Emergency Letter: A coalition of national and international organizations sent a letter to the Biden administration urging the President-elect to take immediate action through an executive order on several policies to address the climate emergency.
Drone Warfare Letter: The Interfaith Working Group on Drone Warfare, of which our office is a member, issued a letter to the Biden administration outlining religious and moral perspectives on drone warfare and recommending next steps for drone policy.
Travel Bans Letter: The Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns joined a coalition of organizations in petitioning the incoming Biden administration to immediately rescind the travel bans, such as the Muslim ban, implemented under the Trump administration.
TPS Redesignation: The Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns joined over 200 organizations in sending a letter to the Biden administration urging them to redesignate Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Nicaragua, Honduras, and El Salvador and to designate Guatemala for TPS given the devastating hurricanes that hit Central America in November.
Trade Priorities Letter: The Citizens Trade Campaign, a cross-sector coalition of labor, environmental, family farm, faith and consumer organizations, issued this letter with recommendations for trade priorities for the Biden administration.
