Good news! Thanks to all of your emails and calls, Congress supported the United States’ first contribution to the Green Climate Fund.
Just last week, the United States made its first disbursement of $500 million to the Green Climate Fund. This global fund will support renewable energy projects in developing countries that are already facing the impacts of climate change – sea level rise, extreme droughts, and super storms.
Now it’s time to raise our voices again, to ensure that the United States meets next year’s commitment to the Green Climate Fund.

We need to show the world that the United States, one of the world’s leading emitters of greenhouse gases, is committed to standing in solidarity with our sisters and brothers in the Global South who are most impacted by climate change.
