to join us at the People’s Climate March in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, April 29.
We invite you to march with us, help amplify the Catholic voice at the march, and lift up the teachings of the Catholic Church on caring for creation and those who are most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change.
Print our "Care for Mother Earth" sign (pictured) and carry it with you to the march!
We will meet at 9 a.m. Mass at St. Dominic Catholic Church, 630 E St SW, Washington, D.C. 20024 (less than 5 minute walk from L'Enfant Plaza Metro Station). Feel free to share the Facebook event page for the Mass with others who might be interested.
After Mass, we will walk together to the march (a 15 minute walk). Faith groups are being asked by the march organizers to line up at 11 a.m. on 3rd Street SW near the corner of Jefferson Drive SW. Look for our sign!

The evening before the march, Friday, April 28:
Join Catholics for a dinner potluck at the Stuart Center starting at 5:30 p.m. on April 28, followed by a film and night prayers around the fire pit. The Stuart Center is located at 821 Varnum St., NE, Washington, D.C. 20017 (20 minute walk from Brookland-CUA Metro staton).
