from the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB):
You are invited to join an "in-district visit"
The USCCB is inviting all Catholics to visit members of Congress at their local offices during the Congressional recess week of February 20-24. This is the first time the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns will be joining in-district visits with the USCCB. We hope you will participate, too. Let's let our members of Congress know the issues important to our Catholic communities.
If you decide to participate, please let us know. We are available to answer any questions and offer support. Email us at ogc@maryknoll.org or call (202) 832-1780.
Get prepared
To prepare for these visits, the USCCB is hosting a virtual "legislative advocacy issues briefing" webinar on February 7 at 2pm EST. Learn how to join a group, prepare yourself, and what to expect during the visit.
The webinar will feature advocacy experts from the USCCB and its collaborating organizations. They will share step-by-step strategies for advocating with your Senators and House Representatives in a clear, consistent voice on issues important to your Catholic community.

Thank you.
