Join a Catholic letter to President Biden calling for a cease-fire in Gaza, the release of hostages, and a halt to shipments of weapons to Israel.
As the Religion News Service reports, more than 200 Catholic leaders, including a cardinal, an archbishop and numerous religious sisters, have already signed the letter urging President Joe Biden to push for a cease-fire in Gaza.
Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns, as members of the Catholic Advisory Council of Churches for Middle East Peace (CMEP), along with Pax Christi USA and the Franciscan Action Network, invites all Catholic individuals and organizations in the United States to sign on to the open letter expressing our grief and dismay over the horrors that have occurred in Israel-Palestine and urging peace. Tomorrow, May 3, members of Churches for Middle East Peace will join an ecumenical prayer service and demonstration outside of the White House.
