Join us in Washington, DC on March 21 for a pray-in for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
On Thursday, Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns will participate in a mass mobilization for a ceasefire in Gaza and peace in the Holy Land in coordination with other Christian groups in the Washington metropolitan area. This action is part of a Lenten Ceasefire Campaign that began on Ash Wednesday.
Join us on March 21, 1-2pm, at the demonstration in Washington, DC, if you are able. We will begin with a public prayer vigil in front of the United Methodist Building, across the street from the U.S. Capitol Building, and then anyone who is interested is welcome to join in a nonviolent public witness action. Find more information and register here.
And wherever you are, write to President Biden and your members of Congress and ask them to support a ceasefire, the release of all hostages, and more robust humanitarian aid for the people of Gaza.
